For those times when NOTHING will restart your VMWare Win XP virtual machine. This is the equivalent of reaching around the back of your computer and pulling the power cord out of the wall.
Do this: Under VMWare Settings, open the Virtual Machine drop down menu. Then hold down the Option key to change “Shut Down Guest” to “Power Off”.
