We landed on the moon. Our planet is older than 6,000 years. Climate changes. Hollow-Earthers and Flat-Earthers are lunatics — but I love to see them keep trying to prove their point. As for the Fermi Paradox. Are we alone in the Universe? That depends on how you define ‘alone’. Or ‘life’ for that matter.

Mr. Allen is a bookworm, traveler, science-fiction novelist, and screenwriter. He is in a lifelong pursuit to be a snappy conversationalist, even with an aging mind prone to l’esprit d’escalier.
